The Bremen Town Musicians
Once upon a time, there were four animals who had been mistreated and were no longer wanted by their owners. There was a donkey, a dog, a cat, and a rooster. They all decided to leave their homes and go to the town of Bremen, where they had heard that musicians were always welcome.
As they walked towards Bremen, the animals became friends and started to talk about their dreams. The donkey wanted to be a musician who played the lute, the dog wanted to be a drummer, the cat wanted to be a musician who played the violin, and the rooster wanted to be a singer.
As they approached a house, they heard a group of robbers inside. The animals decided to work together to scare the robbers away and claim the house as their own. The donkey stood on his hind legs and brayed loudly, the dog barked, the cat meowed, and the rooster crowed.
The robbers were frightened by the loud noises and thought that a group of fierce animals was approaching. They ran away, leaving the house to the animals.
The animals settled in and began to practice their music. The donkey played the lute, the dog drummed, the cat played the violin, and the rooster sang. They sounded so good that they decided to go to Bremen and become musicians.
On their way to Bremen, they came across a group of robbers who had captured a young girl. The animals decided to rescue her and succeeded by using their musical talents to scare the robbers away.
The young girl was grateful for their help and invited them to stay with her family. The animals accepted her offer and decided to stay in Bremen. They became famous as the Bremen town musicians and performed for people from all over the world.
Years went by, and the animals grew old, but they continued to play music together. They never forgot how they had come together and helped each other, and they were always there for one another. Even when they could no longer play their instruments, they continued to sing and bring joy to the people of Bremen.
The Bremen town musicians became a symbol of friendship and cooperation, and people from all over the world came to see them. The animals had found a new home, and they were happy to spend their days together, making music and sharing their love with the world.
